A previous build is a useful reference, not a specification for every engine. Confirm the exact displacement, component selection, machining, assembly and any installation or tuning work included in your quote.

Confirm the build scope

• Identify the donor engine and existing components, and confirm what requires inspection before a final scope can be agreed.
• Discuss the intended operating range and performance goals alongside the fuel, intake, ignition, cooling, oiling and drivetrain combination.
• Confirm supplied components, labour, additional work, exclusions and expected lead time with the team.
• Ask what testing, installation guidance, run-in instructions and servicing requirements apply to the agreed build.

Do not assume an example engine's parts list, power output, price or availability applies to a new project. Confirm the current specification and quote before ordering.
