Collection: Engine Drives & Pulleys - Gilmer Kits, Belts & Tensioners

Browse engine drive components including Gilmer pulley kits, replacement belts, alternator and crankshaft pulleys, pulley spacers, V-belt components and belt tensioners. Choose by the exact engine and accessory-drive configuration, not engine capacity alone.

Gilmer drive kits and replacement parts

Listings include kits for selected small-block Chev, Ford Cleveland, Ford Windsor and Holden V8 applications. Check the individual part number for its specified engine, water pump configuration and included components. Holden 253/308 and VN–VS EFI 5.0L listings should not be assumed interchangeable.

Match replacement Gilmer belts and pulleys by tooth profile and pitch, belt width, length and drive layout. Confirm pulley bore, mounting pattern, offset, diameter and accessory compatibility. A matching bore or belt width alone does not establish fitment.

Water pump and accessory alignment

For small-block Chev kits and pulleys, confirm whether your engine uses a short or long water pump and check the rest of the pulley and bracket arrangement. Compare spacers against the required offset and mounting hardware rather than assuming a spacer will correct every alignment issue.

Check whether air conditioning, power steering and other accessories are supported by the particular kit or require separate components. Refer to each listing for kit contents; do not assume every belt, bracket, pulley or fastener is included.

LS tensioners and idler pulleys

The listed Proflow LS tensioners distinguish VT–VZ and VE–VF Commodore water pump configurations. Confirm the installed pump, brackets, pulley alignment and belt routing before choosing, particularly on engine swaps. For replacement idler or tensioner pulleys, check mounting dimensions, belt-contact surface, pulley diameter and the original application.

Before installation

Confirm belt clearance, alignment, tension and accessory rotation requirements with your installer and follow the component manufacturer's instructions. Accessory-drive selection should not be confused with camshaft timing-drive selection. Do not assume a pulley change guarantees a power gain, improved cooling or elimination of belt slip.

Compare related alternators, water pumps, engine accessories and fabrication parts against your chosen drive layout.
