Made from 5052 aluminium alloy, Proflow's aluminium fuel cells offer superior strength in a lightweight package. The cells have Robotically TIG-welded seams. Other features include a flush-mount, aircraft-style cap and -8AN or 10AN pickup, vent, with flat or tank bottom. Plus some models include foam, which is E85 Compatible, a 0-90 ohm GM sending unit, and others come without 2 x -10AN or 12AN outlet fittings. They're available in silver or black anodized finishes. It is recommended to use the black anodised tanks when using exotic fuel blends such as ethanol and methanol due to the corrosive behaviours of these fuels.
