Proflow's AirMax intake manifold for popular V8 engines features improved technology and design that keeps the air/fuel mixture cooler all the way to the cylinder heads. The open air space from the AirMax design separates the runners from the heat of the lifter-valley cover. The runners are tuned to move the power band 1,000 rpm higher over the original Air Dual manifolds to 1500-6500 rpm.
