Speedflow 100 Series Hose Ends - Installation Guide

Complete guide for installing 100 Series reusable screw-together hose ends.

Before You Install

Parts Needed

• Correct hose end angle
• Correct AN size
• 100 Series compatible hose
• All fittings and adapters

Tools Required

• Sharp hose cutter
• Deburring tool
• AN wrenches
• Brake cleaner
• Vice (recommended)

Installation Steps

Step 1: Prepare Hose

1. Cut hose square
2. Deburr thoroughly
3. Clean and dry

Step 2: Disassemble Fitting

1. Unscrew nut from nipple
2. Note orientation

Step 3: Install Nut

1. Slide nut onto hose (threads facing end)
2. Push back from end

Step 4: Install Nipple

1. Lubricate nipple
2. Push into hose until seated
3. Use vice for larger sizes

Step 5: Assemble

1. Slide nut forward
2. Thread onto nipple
3. Tighten with wrenches

Torque Specs

Nut to Nipple:

• -3AN: 40-50 in-lbs
• -6AN: 60-80 in-lbs
• -8AN: 80-100 in-lbs
• -10AN: 100-120 in-lbs

To Adapter:

• -3AN: 60-80 in-lbs
• -6AN: 100-120 in-lbs
• -8AN: 120-150 in-lbs
• -10AN: 150-180 in-lbs
