The Proflow AirMax dual-plane intake manifold brings improved airflow technology to Ford 289 and 302 engines. The signature AirMax air-gap design separates the runners from lifter-valley heat, keeping the air/fuel mixture cooler all the way to the cylinder heads — and the tuned runners push the power band 1,000 RPM higher than the original AirDual manifolds, delivering strong performance from 1,500 to 6,500 RPM.
